At the beginning of May, present at the construction site of the new Muong Khuong High School No. 1 in Muong Khuong commune, Lao Cai province, reporters recorded the urgent construction atmosphere stretching throughout the project campus.
Right next to the old school that has deteriorated but is still maintaining teaching activities, new building blocks are gradually taking shape in the border area.

The sound of concrete mixers and material cutting machines echoed continuously, interspersed with the busy working pace of hundreds of workers at the construction site.
According to records, many rows of classroom buildings have completed the rough construction, entering the completion stage such as plastering walls, installing electrical systems and auxiliary items. Construction teams are arranged simultaneously at many locations to speed up progress.
Under the early summer sun in the highlands, workers are still rushing to work in a rolling manner to keep up with the set schedule.

On May 7, in an exchange with Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Phan Van Vinh - Official of Project Department 3, Lao Cai Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board - said that the project has completed the rough construction and is entering the completion phase.
Currently, teams are mobilizing about 150 workers to construct according to the 3-shift, 4-shift model to ensure progress. The contractor is continuing to increase manpower, striving to complete the entire project before August 30 to be in time for the new school year," Mr. Vinh informed.
According to the representative of the investor, the project has a total investment of about 70 billion VND, implemented on a large area with many synchronous items such as classroom blocks, administration buildings, internal roads and yards, and technical infrastructure systems.

At the construction site, many workers said that at this time the unit is accelerating to the maximum. On favorable weather days, construction teams are working almost continuously to compensate for progress and ensure the quality of the project.
According to the construction contractor, construction in the highlands faces many difficulties due to erratic weather changes and complex material transportation. However, the units are closely coordinating to ensure the project is completed on schedule.
Muong Khuong is a border area with many difficulties in Lao Cai province. Over the years, the facilities of Muong Khuong High School No. 1 have gradually deteriorated, while the number of students is increasing.

Therefore, the new school project not only solves the need for classrooms but also opens up expectations to improve the quality of education for students in mountainous areas, creating more spacious and modern learning conditions for local children.
Amidst the bustling construction in the border area, new classrooms are being completed day by day, ready to welcome students into the next school year. The project is expected to become a new educational highlight in the Lao Cai border area.
