72 schools in the list of 100 boarding schools for primary and secondary schools were simultaneously started on the morning of November 9.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent his condolences to the people, students and teachers, and emphasized that investment in people is the top national policy, must be comprehensive, in which health and education need to be prioritized.

The Prime Minister called for considering this a "Quang Trung campaign" - rapid, bold in terms of time and progress but absolutely complying with processes, regulations and quality.

People in the border areas are happy, spacious and clean schools are no longer a dream, but have become a reality.

With no more schools for bamboo and thatch painting, children in border areas will have access to a high-quality learning environment.

Schools are built, but the "soul" of the school is the teachers.

With better material conditions, teachers will be retained. Teachers are assured of "landing in the village", no longer worrying about their students and themselves when it rains, winds and prices are cold.

However, it is not enough to retain current teachers, but must also attract teachers to the border area. Only good teachers teach good students.

With the requirement to comprehensively develop students in virtue, intelligence, physical strength, aesthetics, having space for studying, sports, music, fine arts, career guidance, and cultural development, it is impossible to lack good teachers.

In reality, many remote areas lack English and IT teachers, not to mention literature, physical education, and aesthetics.

Thus, from now on, we must consider the plan to attract high-quality human resources to schools in border areas.

First of all, it is human resources for management.

Principals of inter-level boarding schools must have the capacity to manage and operate, to effectively operate the modern infrastructure system of the school.

Principals must manage well, not only in terms of educational expertise, but also in terms of student housing and teachers.

Principals must organize cultural and sports activities so that boarding schools at the inter-level level can make the most of the school's facilities.

Building a modern school but not exploiting it effectively is a waste.

Next is teacher resources.

In addition to the current teaching staff, it is necessary to attract more excellent teachers to schools in border areas. With 100 schools starting construction in 2025, a large number of teachers will be needed.

Pedagogical students are young intellectuals, dedicated, ready to go to the border area to contribute, but there must be appropriate treatment policies.

The Ministry of Education and Training plans to issue a policy to attract teachers to border schools before the 2026-2027 school year, in sync with the completion progress of the projects.

Good policies will invite good teachers.
