Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy has announced its enrollment plan for 2025.
Regarding admission methods, the school will maintain the same admission methods as in 2024 and consider expanding the methods in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training as well as social needs.
Regarding the admission combination, the school has expanded some admission combinations for all training majors. At the same time, it has added English, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics to the admission combination of some majors.
Regarding enrollment targets, the school maintains the same targets as previous years to ensure and improve training quality.
Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine has also announced its expected enrollment plan for 2025. The school plans to increase enrollment targets for the following majors: Traditional Medicine, up 20% compared to the enrollment target for 2024; Nursing, up 10% compared to the enrollment target for 2024. Pharmacy, up 30% compared to the enrollment target for 2024.
Regarding admission methods, the school will implement 6 admission methods in 2025: High school graduation exam results; Direct admission according to the regulations of the admission regulations; Using the results of the capacity assessment test, thinking assessment organized by other units for admission; Using only international certificates for admission; Combining high school graduation exam results with international certificates for admission; Using other methods.
Compared to 2024, the school has added 3 more admission methods. Last year, the school recruited students using 3 methods: High school graduation exam results; Direct admission; Priority admission.
Notably, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine does not apply foreign language as a secondary criterion when considering equal scores as in 2024 and earlier.
The University of Medicine and Pharmacy (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) also plans to open an additional admission method for students who have a university degree to study Medicine and Pharmacy from 2025. Accordingly, for this group of students, Medicine will take 4 years and Pharmacy will take 3 years.
