This afternoon (December 27), at the Presidential Palace, President Luong Cuong - Politburo member, Chairman of the National Defense and Security Council, Commander-in-Chief of the People's Armed Forces - presided over the ceremony to announce and present the Decision to promote the rank from Lieutenant General to Senior Lieutenant General to comrade Le Quoc Hung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security.
Presenting the decision and speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, President Luong Cuong congratulated Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung and affirmed that this is an honor and pride, as well as a heavy responsibility entrusted by the Party, State and people.
The President stated that Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung is a cadre who has received basic training, matured from the grassroots, and has been trained and tested through many leadership and command positions in the People's Public Security Force. In any conditions and circumstances, he always has a strong political stance; pure revolutionary ethics; is exemplary and responsible, and has fulfilled well and excellently all assigned duties and tasks.
The President emphasized that the decision to promote the rank of Senior Lieutenant General demonstrates the recognition, appreciation, attention and trust of the Party, State and people for the outstanding achievements and feats of arms that Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung has achieved. At the same time, he believes that he will continue to promote the glorious tradition of the heroic People's Public Security force, maintain revolutionary ethics, be absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the people; actively study, cultivate and train; unite and be closely attached to cadres, soldiers and people.
Expressing his honor to be promoted to the rank of Senior Lieutenant General of the People's Public Security by the Party and State, Mr. Le Quoc Hung affirmed that this is not only an honor and pride for him personally, but also for the entire People's Public Security force.
Understanding, thoroughly grasping and seriously implementing the President's instructions, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung promised to be absolutely loyal to the Fatherland, the Party, the State and the people; uphold and maintain revolutionary ethics, and regularly cultivate and practice.
Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung promised to continue working with the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security to proactively advise the Party Central Committee, Politburo, Secretariat, President, National Assembly, and Government to successfully carry out the task of protecting the Party, State, and socialist regime, ensuring security, order, and a peaceful and happy life for the people.
