Speaking at the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong - Director of the National Economics University - said that 12th grade students are facing one of the most important decisions of their lives, which is choosing a major and a training environment for their future career.
He emphasized that choosing a major needs to be based on personal abilities, interests and trends of the labor market in the future, because human resource needs are always changing under the impact of science and technology and international integration.
The most important thing is the ability to adapt and study throughout life to meet the requirements of the labor market" - the teacher said.
According to the school's leaders, the National Economics University orients training students towards developing thinking, critical ability and adaptability instead of just providing professional knowledge.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong also said that throughout 70 years of formation and development, the school has continuously opened new training majors to meet social needs. Currently, the school has more than 50 programs accredited by international organizations from Germany and the United States.
