On May 10, representatives of Road Traffic Police Team No. 2, Traffic Police Department of Hue City Police said that the unit had just handled a concrete pump truck parked across the road, causing traffic congestion after a reflection from Lao Dong Newspaper.
Accordingly, after receiving information, the traffic police force quickly arrived at Ton Quang Phiet street (Hue City) to inspect and handle the incident.
At the scene, functional forces determined that driver Tran D.C was driving a concrete pump truck with license plate 75C-111. 09 (with the Thanh Cong concrete logo) violating the offense of "Parking in violation of regulations causing traffic congestion".
According to Road Traffic Police Team No. 2, the penalty for the above act is 5 million VND. In addition, functional forces also temporarily seized driver's licenses and professional certificates of drivers according to regulations.
Previously, as Lao Dong newspaper reported, on the afternoon of May 8, people traveling on Ton Quang Phiet street, Hue city were outraged when a concrete tank truck with the "Thanh Cong" logo blocked almost the entire road surface.
According to records, the incident occurred at about 5 pm, when traffic was dense. Many cars and motorbikes when entering this road were forced to turn around because they could not move through.
Notably, some motorcyclists, due to being in a hurry, had to weave through two balance pillars of tanker trucks, posing a potential risk of traffic unsafety.
People said that the road has a narrow cross-section and a large number of vehicles passing by, but the car did not have warning signs or traffic diversion.
