Khanh Hoa - The education sector is verifying information about candidates being discovered using cheat sheets and phones in the exam room but not being recorded.

On the afternoon of June 13, Mr. Vu Ngoc Duong - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province said that he had assigned subordinates to inspect and verify the content reflected on social networks about the supervisor handling a case of a candidate using cheat sheets and a phone in the exam room.

The information originated from the social media account of a student named V.V, in the Cam Ranh area.

According to the posted content, the incident is said to have occurred at exam room No. 0577 in an exam site located at N.G. T High School on June 12.

Student V.V said that she did not take the exam in this exam room but knew some candidates in the room and was told about the incident.

According to reports, a candidate used cheat sheets and a phone during the test. After discovering it, the invigilator only confiscated the above items without making a record of handling.

Although it is only information from one side and has not been verified by functional agencies, the incident has quickly attracted the attention of many people on social networks.

Up to now, the information on the student's page on V.V has been removed.

According to the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province, the education sector has grasped the reflected information, but there is currently no basis to confirm that the posted content is accurate.

The Department is conducting verification and clarification of the case and will provide information to the press as soon as there are results.

The 2026 high school graduation exam at 52 exam sites in Khanh Hoa province has just ended, and is assessed to be taking place safely and seriously.

According to a report by the education sector, the whole province recorded 3 cases of candidates violating exam regulations and being suspended from the exam for bringing phones into the exam room.

In addition, there were 2 candidates proposed for special graduation consideration. Among them, one candidate at the exam site of Dang Chi Thanh Secondary and High School (Ca Na commune) fell and broke his arm on the way to the exam site; another candidate fainted in front of the gate of the Thai Nguyen Secondary School exam site (Nha Trang ward).
