On July 24, the Lam Dong Department of Construction said that from August 1, traffic organization will be adjusted on some roads in the central area of Da Lat to reduce traffic pressure, especially during peak hours and holidays, weekends.
According to the new plan, many routes such as Pham Ngu Lao, Ba Trieu, Nguyen Van Cu, Nguyen Chi Thanh... will prohibit stopping and parking.

For tourist vehicles with more than 29 seats (excluding buses), vehicles will be banned from circulating or restricted in each direction on some routes. Specifically, vehicles with more than 29 seats are prohibited from entering Hai Ba Trung street (section near La Son Phu Tu street); prohibited from going straight and turning around on Phan Dinh Phung street (in front of Phan Dinh Phung - Tan Da intersection); prohibited from turning right from Tan Da street into Phan Dinh Phung street.
In addition, vehicles with more than 29 seats are also prohibited from stopping and parking on Nguyen Van Cu and Ba Thang Hai streets. Bui Thi Xuan street is prohibited according to the time frame from 7 pm to 9 pm at the section after the Ly Tu Trong - Bui Thi Xuan intersection in the direction of Da Lat University intersection.
According to the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province, the adjustment is aimed at diverting large tourist vehicles, limiting vehicles from entering the central area - where congestion often occurs due to high vehicle density.
In addition, the Department of Construction also supplemented a plan to restrict trucks from 1.5 tons circulating at 6:00-8:00, 10:00-12:00 and 16:00-18:00 daily on the Ngo Quyen - Hai Ba Trung, La Son Phu Tu - Hai Ba Trung, Ba Thang Hai - Tran Phu and Dang Thuy Tram - Hoang Van Thu routes to reduce traffic pressure during peak hours.
