On January 13, information from the office of Da Nang City People's Committee, this unit has just issued a decision on implementing the urgent construction order for the project to repair and restore provincial roads DT.605, DT.612, DT.614.
These are sections of the route that were seriously damaged due to the impact of storm No. 12 and prolonged heavy rains from the end of October 2025. The repair aims at the highest goal of ensuring traffic safety, serving the urgent travel needs of people in Dien Ban Tay, Son Cam Ha and Viet An communes (Da Nang).
The total estimated investment cost is about 960 million VND. The City People's Committee requests relevant units to focus manpower and machinery to complete the entire workload before March 31.
According to the emergency order, repair items will focus on the most "vulnerable" locations to prevent widespread damage:
- On DT.605 route: Focusing on soil filling to restore the roadbed, reinforcing and restoring the negative taluy in the Km12+350 culvert area with cement concrete to prevent erosion.
- On DT.612 route: Carry out excavation of landslide mud on the positive taluy, restore roadsides and longitudinal ditch systems in the section Km17+800 - Km17+920.
- On DT.614 route: Repair and restore roadsides and longitudinal ditches at Km14+300; and at the same time connect culverts, repair collection pits and reinforce negative taluy at Km18+200, Km19+990 and Km23+180 locations.
To ensure the "urgentness" of the project, the City People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to directly organize the selection of capable contractors from surveying, designing to construction and supervision.
Da Nang City leaders requested units to be responsible before the law for the quality and progress. The preparation of completion and acceptance dossiers must be carried out in accordance with current regulations, absolutely preventing errors and waste in the process of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.
