Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet has just signed Decision No. 1015/QD-UBND approving the National Highway 14B Intersection project with the Da Nang - Quang Ngai Expressway with a total investment of more than 537.5 billion VND. The project is implemented in Ba Na commune, with implementation period from 2025 to 2028.
The scale of the project includes the construction of an intersection other than the complete interconnection level. The main items include: building a bridge on National Highway 14B over the expressway, taking advantage of and expanding the existing bridge of the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan route. The project will also expand the Hoa Lien - Quang Ngai branch, complete the existing 4 right branch and build 4 new indirect left branch. Four residential access roads will also be built, along with electricity, lighting, traffic lights and drainage systems.
This intersection project directly connects to Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan Expressway. This expressway has a total length of about 11.5km, with a scale of 4 lanes in the investment phase and 6 lanes when completed, and will be technically opened to traffic on August 19.
The Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan Expressway project has a total investment of more than VND 2,112 billion, of which the cost of site clearance is VND 951 billion. The project started in September 2023, completed the main route on August 19, 2025 and the entire route in November 2025.
