Hanoi - Some bus routes passing through the area will have a parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2.

The ceremony, parade, and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) will take place at 6:30 a.m., September 2, 2025. The event center is Ba Dinh Square.

People who need to travel by bus to Ba Dinh Square, Lang Bac, Phuong Hoa can choose the following bus routes: 09A, 22A, 33, BRT 01, E09, E07, E08, 86, 02, 23, 25, and 32.

In particular, route 09A starts from Hanoi Post Office, No. 75B Dinh Tien Hoang (the stop at Dong Kinh - Nghia Thuc Square area relocated due to the demolition of the "Ham Ca Map" building) through Le Thai To - Trang Thi - Dien Bien Phu - Le Hong Phong streets - Doi Can - Lieu Giai... to Cau Giay - Xuan Dinh.

Thus, route 09A passes through Dien Bien Phu and Le Hong Phong - 2 routes right next to Ba Dinh Square. Among them, there is the stop at 18A Le Hong Phong (nearest to Lang Bac).

Operating time: 5:00 am to 9:00 pm, extended by 1520 minutes/trip.

Bus route 22A departs from Gia Lam Bus Station, vehicles pass through Ngo Gia Kham, Ngoc Lam, Nguyen Van Cu streets, through Chuong Duong Bridge to enter the old quarter, then continue moving on the Tran Nhat Duat - Yen Phu axis (turning around opposite house number 92 Yen Phu) - Long Bien - Hang Dau - Quan Thanh - Nguyen Bieu - Hoang Dieu - Tran Phu - Son Tay - Kim Ma - Dao Tan - Lieu Giai - Nguyen Chi Thanh - Tran Duy Hung - Khuat Duy Tien - Nguyen Trai - Tran Phu (Ha Dong) - Phung Hung (Ha Dong)...

Including the streets closest to Ba Dinh Square such as Quan Thanh, Nguyen Bieu, Hoang Dieu, Tran Phu, Kim Ma.

Operating hours: 5:00 to 22:30 daily, with a frequency of 1012 minutes/trip.

Bus route No. 33 starts from Xuan Dinh, passing through Lac Long Quan - Buoi - Hoang Hoa Tham - Phan Dinh Phung - Hoang Dieu - Tran Phu - Kim Ma - Giang Vo - Lang Ha - Lang - Nguyen Trai - Tran Phu (Ha Dong) - Phung Hung - Ba La - Quang Trung - Road 21B - Thanh Oai Industrial Cluster. This route runs in the North - South direction, connecting the Tay Ho - Cau Giay - Ba Dinh - Dong Da - Ha Dong - Thanh Oai area.

In this route, route 33 has a section passing through many major streets in the old Ba Dinh district such as Hoang Hoa Tham, Phan Dinh Phung, Hoang Dieu, Tran Phu - all of which are near Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the Presidential Palace.

Operating hours: 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. each day, with a frequency of about 1520 minutes/trip.

BRT 01 route departs from Kim Ma bus station, go to Giang Vo - Lang Ha - Le Van Luong... to Yen Nghia and vice versa.

BRT01 route has a main starting point, Kim Ma bus station, about 1km from Lang Bac.

Operating time: 5:00 am to 10:00 pm, frequency of 510 minutes of peak travel.

E09 electric bus route (Lac Long Quan Flower Garden - Nguyen Thai Hoc - Hoang Dieu - Smart City) passes through the main axes such as Nguyen Trai - Tay Son - Ton Duc Thang - Nguyen Thai Hoc - Hoang Dieu - Nguyen Bieu - Quan Thanh and Lac Long Quan.

This route runs through the area near Lang Bac, operating from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a frequency of 1520 minutes/trip.

Route 32 (Giap Bat Bus Station - Nhon) goes through the center, the section through Ba Dinh includes Dien Bien Phu - Tran Phu - Kim Ma - Dao Tan. Activities 5:00 am to 10:30 pm, about 1015 minutes/trip.

However, during the parade and marching period at Ba Dinh Square, many central roads will be blocked early to serve the event. Therefore, bus routes passing through Ba Dinh area may temporarily adjust their routes.

The Hanoi Department of Construction will have an official announcement about the banned routes and traffic diversion plans, including bus routes, before the holiday.

People are encouraged to use buses when attending crowded events in Ba Dinh to reduce traffic pressure.

Choose a suitable bus route, go early before the event (around 4:30 am to 5:00 am for the 6:30 am parade) to have a seat and avoid traffic jams.

Private parking should be done away from the Square area and then walk or take the bus to the festival center.
