According to Lao Dong Newspaper, on the morning of June 28, vehicles on National Highway 20 passing through Dai Lao and Loc Chau communes (Bao Loc city) only traveled in one direction.

Hundreds of vehicles traveling from Da Lat to Ho Chi Minh City lined up waiting for a length of about 4km from the B'Lao S Tre intersection (Dai Lao commune). Here, the repair of the cross-culverts on National Highway 20 to the center of Loc Chau commune is underway.

The culvert is being urgently repaired at the B'Lao cre intersection (Dai Lao commune), located nearly 1km from Bao Loc Pass. Meanwhile, in the opposite direction from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Lat, traffic was also seriously congested for more than 3km from the B'Lao Shere intersection to the Duc Me station area on Bao Loc Pass.

According to the authorities participating in traffic regulation and diversion, the congestion on National Highway 20 through the above area started at 2:00 a.m. on June 28. By 10:45 a.m. the same day, traffic congestion had not shown any signs of abating.

Accordingly, this morning, it took an average of 1.5-hour for each vehicle traveling on National Highway 20 to travel through Bao Loc Pass.

During the traffic jam, the Traffic Police Team at Bao Loc Pass in Madaguoi Station, Lam Dong Provincial Police mobilized officers and soldiers to participate in regulating and dividing traffic. However, due to rain and heavy traffic, traffic regulation and diversion are still difficult, and traffic is still congested and congested for a long time.

The emergency repair project for the cross-culverts at the B'Lao Sre intersection on National Highway 20 is led by the Office of Road Management Area IV.1 (Vietnam Road Administration). The consulting and design unit is An Giang Construction Trading Consulting Company Limited. Project management unit of Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company 533 Nam.

The supervision consulting unit is the Road Technical Center 4. The construction units are XD&DV Vuong Tran Trading and Service Company Limited and XD 886 - Thanh Nam Investment Joint Stock Company is the construction maintenance unit.

The project started construction at the end of June 2025. Since the start of construction, the traffic regulation and diversion work has been basically implemented by units to ensure safety and smoothness.

However, in the past 2 days, the construction and traffic regulation of the construction unit at this project has encountered problems and limitations, causing traffic congestion and congestion.

Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, during the construction of upgrading and repairing Bao Loc 2 Bridge on Bao Loc Pass, there were also limitations and inadequacies that caused traffic congestion on the pass and National Highway 20 for many days. The peak was on June 8, traffic on National Highway 20 and Bao Loc Pass was congested for more than 10km and lasted for many hours.

After Lao Dong Newspaper published an article reflecting, Lam Dong Provincial Department of Construction issued a document requesting Road Management Area IV.1 and related units to coordinate in regulating traffic to prevent congestion. Since then, traffic through Bao Loc 2 Bridge area on Bao Loc Pass has been basically smooth and safe.
