On June 28, 2025, Hanoi City Police held a ceremony to announce and present the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on the appointment of Colonel Le Van Tuan, Deputy Director of Vinh Phuc Provincial Police, to hold the position of Deputy Director of Hanoi City Police. Authorized by the Minister of Public Security, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung - Director of Hanoi City Police - chaired the ceremony.
The transfer and appointment stems from the requirement of the task of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety in the capital in the new situation. Especially in the context of no longer organizing district-level police, it is necessary to strengthen leadership and direction at Hanoi City Police. The Central Party Committee of the Public Security and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security have decided to transfer Colonel Le Van Tuan to work and hold the position of Deputy Director of Hanoi City Police.
Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung congratulated the new Deputy Director and affirmed: The transfer decision shows the trust, recognition and appreciation of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security for Colonel Le Van Tuan. At the same time, this is also an important step to strengthen the Hanoi City Police force in the new period, contributing to the cause of national security protection, maintaining social order and safety in the capital.
Comrade Le Van Tuan is considered a cadre with strong political will, good moral qualities; exemplary, dedicated, close to work, scientific, creative thinking, daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility for the common good. He has high professional qualifications, deep knowledge of politics, professional skills, and law and has held many different positions, including nearly 20 years of investigation and crime prevention.
He has held the position of Head of the Department of Environmental Crime Investigation, Deputy Director of Vinh Phuc Provincial Police. In all positions, he has always excellently completed the assigned tasks.
As Deputy Director of Vinh Phuc Provincial Police, he always upholds the spirit of responsibility and determination in leadership, direction, overcoming difficulties, and excellently completing tasks. He and the collective of the Provincial Police Department united and strictly implemented the Working Regulations of the Party Committee, fully complying with the policies and guidelines of the Party and the State.
Assigning the task to the new Deputy Director and Director of Hanoi City Police Department, Colonel Le Van Tuan was requested to promote the spirit of responsibility, qualities, capacity and work experience; promptly receive and hand over work; together with the Party Committee and leaders of Hanoi City Police to effectively implement the work of advising and managing the State on security and order protection in the capital. Thereby, contributing to building a clean, strong, disciplined, elite, modern capital police force, meeting the requirements in the new situation.
Speaking on receiving the assignment, Colonel Le Van Tuan affirmed: In the new position, he will constantly strive, practice, study to improve his capacity, immediately start working at the assigned work; always be exemplary, close to the grassroots, ready to use all his abilities, enthusiasm and responsibility to successfully complete the task. He emphasized that he will always remember the teachings of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to the People's Public Security force: "Dignity is the most sacred and noble thing".
Colonel Le Van Tuan expressed his hope to continue to receive the attention and direction of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the Ministry of Public Security; the Hanoi Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee; coordination and support from all levels and sectors of the city, as well as the support of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors and all officers and soldiers of the Capital Police to successfully complete all assigned tasks.
