On September 10, after the reflection of Lao Dong Newspaper, 886 Thanh Nam Construction Investment Company - the unit managing Bao Loc Pass - mobilized workers and machinery to pave the damaged road surface on the top of the pass.

Through surveys, the road section about 200m long through the top of Bao Loc pass is peeling and degraded, with hundreds of potholes and craters appearing.
Some seriously damaged locations form holes about 0.2 - 0.3m deep.

Due to large traffic volume, coupled with prolonged rainy weather, the road surface in this area continues to degrade.
Faced with the above situation, the management unit has organized patching and asphalt paving to limit danger to people and vehicles.

Mr. Duong Nguyen Than - Head of Bao Loc Pass Road Management Unit under Thanh Nam 886 Construction Investment Company - said that from the afternoon of September 9, when the weather cleared up, the unit had deployed asphalt paving for the damaged road section.
By the morning of September 10, the asphalt paving was basically completed. The road has been repaired, ensuring safety for people and vehicles traveling through Bao Loc Pass" - Mr. Than said.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reflected the situation that the road surface in the top of Bao Loc pass area appeared densely potholes and craters after a long period of heavy rain, causing difficulties and potential dangers for traffic participants.
Bao Loc Pass is about 10km long, located on National Highway 20, is a vital traffic route connecting Lam Dong with Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City. The road has a large traffic volume, especially trucks and passenger cars.
In addition to the peak area of the pass, many peeling and damaged locations also appeared on the entire route.
Some sections are being repaired and overcome by Construction Joint Stock Company 676.
Timely asphalt paving helps improve the road surface condition in the peak area of the pass. However, to ensure long-term safety, damaged locations need to be repaired and reinforced with appropriate solutions when the weather is favorable.
