The investment project to build the new Nam Dinh - Lac Quan - coastal road is a key project of Nam Dinh province, with a total route length of about 24.7km.
The total investment of the project is about 6,400 billion VND, the scale of the first-class plain road, the design speed is 100km/h, the roadbed width is 39m, the road surface is 8 lanes, the site clearance is on the entire route with a cross-section of about 100m.


According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, at the construction site, hundreds of workers are still working hard. The contractor mobilized dozens of equipment and machines to create an urgent and bustling working atmosphere.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, technical officer of the new Nam Dinh - Lac Quan - coastal road project, said: "Our bid package goes through 4 communes in Nam Truc district, focusing on construction of asphalt concrete paving, roadbed waste rock layer, unloading of roadbed, various culverts... In the days leading up to Lunar New Year, the weather in Nam Dinh is favorable, so we have encouraged officers, engineers, and workers at the construction site to focus on construction and divide into work shifts. According to the policy of construction throughout Tet, but the work progress is relatively satisfactory, we will give workers 6 days off for Tet."




According to the Nam Dinh Province Construction Investment Project Management Board, the new Nam Dinh - Lac Quan - coastal road project, when completed, will contribute to perfecting the road traffic network, modernizing the traffic system of Nam Dinh province, and conveniently connecting with the regional and national traffic system.
At the same time, it will reduce the load on National Highway 21, which is currently very narrow, and shorten the time for transporting goods and passengers from the southern districts of the province to the center of Nam Dinh city, to the capital Hanoi and provinces and cities in the Red River Delta.
