Recorded on April 26, on National Highway 20 - the route connecting Lam Dong with southern provinces and cities, items under the Project to renovate the section through Mimosa Pass and related works are basically completed and put into operation.
Land and construction problems at Dai Nga bridge (Bao Lam 2 commune) and Dai Ninh bridge (Duc Trong commune) have been resolved. New bridges have been put into use in parallel with old bridges, helping vehicles circulate more conveniently.

At Xuan Huong bridge (Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat), the section through Mimosa Pass has also been completed, promptly serving travel needs before the holidays.
The project was constructed urgently after the landslide caused by floods in November 2025, contributing to ensuring smooth traffic on the entire route.
National Highway 20 is a vital traffic route, connecting Ho Chi Minh City and southern provinces with Da Lat city (old), and is also a main axis nearly 200km long passing through Lam Dong province.
With a large volume of vehicles every day, the road is regularly upgraded and renovated to meet travel needs.
In July 2022, the Ministry of Transport (now the Ministry of Construction) approved the Project to renovate the section through Mimosa Pass and some works on National Highway 20.
The project is invested by Project Management Board 85, with a total investment of 441 billion VND. The project is implemented in the 2023-2024 period and has its schedule adjusted to 2025.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that due to problems in site clearance, Dai Nga bridge and Dai Ninh bridge located on the key National Highway 20 could not be completed synchronously.
The section through Mimosa Pass, about 10.4km long, has basically completed upgrades, and bridge items are also nearly completed.
Among the 11 bridges under the project, Dai Nga bridge (Km129+500, Bao Lam 2 commune) and Dai Ninh bridge (Km189+100, Duc Trong commune) are built parallel to the old bridge but are slow to be put into operation.
The main reason is that some households have not agreed with the compensation and site clearance support plan, causing the construction progress to be prolonged, and at times having to be temporarily suspended.
Currently, the obstacles have been removed, new bridges have been put into use, contributing to completing traffic infrastructure, ensuring safe and convenient traffic on National Highway 20.
