Hanoi temporarily bans and limits vehicles for the 2025 Autumn Fair

Hanoi - Some routes around the National Exhibition Center will be temporarily closed and vehicles will be restricted to serve the 2025 Autumn Fair.

From October 25, 2025 to November 4, 2025, the 2025 Autumn Fair will take place at the National Exhibition Center (Truong Sa Street, Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi). Hanoi City Police organizes traffic flow and direction for vehicles as follows: Temporarily prohibit cargo vehicles with a cargo weight of 3,500kg or more, passenger cars with 29 seats or more (except for buses, garbage trucks, incident handling vehicles, vehicles with protection badges, vehicles of the police force, the army and other priority vehicles according to the law).

At the same time, there are restrictions for trucks with a carrying capacity of goods under 3,500kg, passenger cars with less than 29 seats, private cars and motorbikes operating on some routes: Ly Son, Truong Sa, Hoang Sa.

During the above time, Hanoi City Police organized directions for vehicles to avoid the temporarily banned and restricted areas as follows:

Vehicles from Hai Phong, Bac Ninh provinces... to Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen... along the Thanh Tri bridge route - Hanoi - Bac Giang expressway - National Highway 18 - Vo Van Kiet and vice versa.

Vehicles from National Highway 3 to Xuan Canh intersection and Bac Thang Long - Vuc De intersection follow Hoang Sa - Vo Van Kiet road.

Vehicles from Noi Bai airport go in the direction of Vo Nguyen Giap - National Highway 18 - Vo Van Kiet or Hanoi - Bac Giang Expressway.

For other routes and vehicles, traffic is carried out in accordance with the regulations on transportation activities in Hanoi in Decision No. 06/2013/QD-UBND dated January 25, 2013 (amended and supplemented in Decision No. 24/2020/QD-UBND dated October 2, 2020) and other adjustment documents of competent authorities.

Hanoi City Police requested the Department of Construction to base on the traffic diversion notice to direct functional units to adjust the route of passenger bus routes, limiting operations on the above routes.

Hanoi City Police also require all vehicles participating in traffic to be self-conscious, strictly comply with the Road Traffic Law and follow the instructions and traffic flow of the authorities.

Temporary ban and restrictions on vehicles: From 5:00 p.m. on October 25, 2025 to November 4, 2025.
