On May 19, the Tu Lien bridge project and the road at both ends of the bridge were officially started.
The project is about 5.15km long, starting at Nghi Tam Street (Tay Ho District), ending at Truong Sa Street (Dong Anh District).
The Tu Lien Bridge and Road project at both ends of the bridge has been approved, including 4 component projects, including 3 component projects for site clearance and 1 investment project to build Tu Lien Bridge and access roads.
Component projects for site clearance in 3 districts: Tay Ho, Long Bien, Dong Anh (in the wards: Quang An, Yen Phu, Tu Lien, Ngoc Thuy, Xuan Canh, Dong Hoi) have a total investment of about 4,332 billion VND.
The total area of land acquisition and clearance is about 62.53 hectares with a total expected of about 701 land acquisition cases (412 cases of residential land, 280 cases of agricultural land and land of organizations and public land).

Regarding the handover of the site, on April 18, 2025, Tay Ho, Long Bien districts and Dong Anh district received the handover of boundary markers to serve compensation, support and resettlement work.
The leaders of the Hanoi People's Committee assigned 3 districts to focus on site clearance for the remaining area within the project scope according to the process and regulations, and promptly hand over clean land for project construction.
For the investment project to build Tu Lien bridge across the Red River, Duong River and the two ends of the bridge (from the intersection with Nghi Tam Street to the intersection with Truong Sa street), Hanoi assigned the Management Board of the Traffic Construction Project to be the investor. The total investment is about VND 15,498 billion.
According to the plan, the project will be completed in 2027, becoming one of the iconic bridges of Hanoi city.

The site clearance for the Ring Road 2.5 construction project from Nguyen Trai Street (National Highway 6) to Dam Hong is being focused on by Thanh Xuan District.
The project is about 1.5km long, starting at Nguyen Trai Street (Thuong Dinh Ward), ending at Dam Hong (Khuong Dinh Ward).
This is a group A project with a total investment of more than VND 2,500 billion, invested by Thanh Xuan District People's Committee. The implementation period is from 2022 to 2026.
To implement the project, Thanh Xuan District will reclaim and clear 60,902.1m2 of land, involving 703 organizations, individuals, and households in the 4 wards of Thuong Dinh, Ha Dinh, Khuong Trung, and Khuong Dinh.
Thanh Xuan District strives to complete the issuance of land acquisition decisions and approve compensation, support and resettlement plans for all organizations, households and individuals within the project scope in 2025.
After completing the site clearance, the investor will hand over the site to the contractor to implement the project, and soon put it into use to solve the congestion, as well as synchronize the urban transport infrastructure system.
