On July 17, the Traffic Police Department (Hanoi City Police) held a conference to deploy the Peak Plan for testing and granting road motor vehicle driving licenses with the participation of representatives of 53 training facilities and 17 driving test centers in the city.
Speaking at the conference, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Hoai Nam - Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - emphasized: The peak plan is being implemented to promote emulation movements in testing, issuing and renewing driving licenses; mobilizing maximum resources, increasing testing staff, facilities, and technical equipment to promptly meet the needs, aspirations and legitimate rights of the people of the capital.
The Traffic Police Department requires commanders, officers and soldiers assigned to conduct the search work to uphold their sense of responsibility, implement it seriously, publicly and transparently in accordance with Circular No. 12/2025/TT-BCA dated February 28, 2025 of the Ministry of Public Security and related legal regulations, ensuring both professional and legal requirements and serving the people.
According to the plan, from July 15 to July 31, 2025, the Traffic Police Department will directly work with training facilities and testing centers to review and accurately count the number of students who have completed the training program but have not yet taken the test.
This statistic will be an important basis for developing an operating plan, allocating quantity and establishing a test council suitable for each center, each time, avoiding Missing or overloading.
The Traffic Police Department will establish from 5 to 7 examination boards per day, corresponding to organizing exams for about 2,000 to 3,000 students/day. The test organization schedule will be announced periodically every month so that facilities can proactively coordinate in implementation.
The Traffic Police Department also requested driving training institutions to make priority lists for students who have completed the training program, and at the same time send information to coordinate the organization of driving test councils. Establishments need to proactively announce the list and organize a thorough review to ensure the quality of test results.
For new learners, the requirement is to organize serious training, in accordance with the prescribed program; special attention is paid to both legal theory and practical skills in driving vehicles, contributing to raising awareness of compliance with traffic laws.
In the coming time, the Traffic Police Department (Hanoi City Police) will continue to closely coordinate with training institutions and testing centers to ensure the organization of exams on schedule, in accordance with procedures and in compliance with legal regulations. Along with that, propaganda work will be promoted to help people clearly understand the exam schedule, proactively participate in the exam seriously and effectively.
