Voters asked the Ministry of Transport to pay attention and direct the installation of speed reduction signs on the above road section to ensure people participating in traffic are safe.
Responding to this issue, the Ministry of Transport said that the section of National Highway 1 from Km1164 - Km1166 through My Phong commune, Phu My district, Binh Dinh province is currently a level III plain road, with a basic road surface. Straight slab, flat terrain; On the route there is My Phong Primary School at Km1165+250 (left of the route).
The Department of Roads of Vietnam (DBVN), with responsibility as the Road Management Agency, has presided over and cooperated with relevant parties (local authorities, Binh Dinh Department of Transport) to organize inspections and determine the causes of unsafety. as voters stated and proposed solutions to handle and overcome.
To date, the Vietnam Road Bureau has organized and completed the following contents: Installing sign number W.225 "Children" with additional sign S501 at Km1165+075(P) and Km1165+496 (T); Additional yellow speed bump markings for section Km1165+026 - Km1165+502.
At the same time, it is allowed to prepare additional investments and complete the traffic safety system at the school location as stated by voters, expected to be completed in 2024.
