The investment project to build Ring Road 2.5 from Nguyen Trai (National Highway 6) to Dam Hong is one of the key traffic projects in Thanh Xuan district (Hanoi).
The project aims to contribute to the completion and smoothness of Ring Road 2.5, contributing to solving traffic congestion in the area, contributing to the socio-economic development of Thanh Xuan district in particular and Hanoi in general.
At the 15th session of the People's Council of Thanh Xuan District (Hanoi) on December 19, the leader of Thanh Xuan District said that in 2025, this locality will focus on implementing the site clearance for the investment project to build Ring Road 2.5 from Nguyen Trai (National Highway 6) to Dam Hong.
The project to build Ring Road 2.5 through Thanh Xuan district is about 1.5km long, starting at Nguyen Trai Street (Thuong Dinh Ward), ending at Dam Hong - National Highway 1 (Khuong Dinh Ward).
The road is classified as an inter-regional road, with a design speed of 60km/h. The cross-section is 40m, with a 22.5m roadway with 6 lanes, a 14.5m sidewalk and a 3m wide median strip.
This is a group A project with a total investment of more than 2,500 billion VND, invested by Thanh Xuan District People's Committee. The project implementation period has been approved for the period 2022 - 2026.

The project has a total land recovery area of 60,902.1m2 from 681 cases (664 households and 17 organizations) and 36 cases of land recovery in 2003 (in Thuong Dinh, Ha Dinh, Khuong Trung, Khuong Dinh wards).
According to the People's Committee of Thanh Xuan district, up to now, the investigation, measurement and counting of organizations, households and individuals to implement the investment project to build Ring Road 2.5 has been basically completed.
To ensure publicity and transparency, Thanh Xuan District People's Committee has publicly announced the planning and red line boundaries of the project in the wards.
The local government also held a conference to collect opinions from residents whose land was acquired for the project. Most of the opinions agreed with the investment and construction policy of the project.
One of the issues that people are concerned about is compensation for land acquisition and site clearance for the project. Thanh Xuan District People's Committee has publicly announced the compensation plan and the bases according to legal regulations.
The Hanoi People's Committee has also approved the resettlement housing fund for the project at CTI.1B, CTI.2 Vinh Hoang, Hoang Mai district and the C1 building project, No. 289A Khuat Duy Tien street, Trung Hoa ward, Cau Giay district.
