According to the Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (Traffic Board), the Ring Road 3 project has 10 interconnecting intersections and areas for highway entrance and exit. Of which, the intersection with the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway is one of the largest intersections under the project, which will be completed on April 30.
According to the reporter's records at the intersection, workers and equipment are concentrating on guarding the girders, making bridge deck and roadbed.

The Traffic Department is coordinating with the My Thuan Project Management Board (investor of Nhon Trach Bridge) to speed up the progress, ensuring the completion and connection of the project on April 30.
At the location of the intersection 3 connected to the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh highway, the section passing the old district 9, the branches were shaped. A branch that helps vehicles from Ho Chi Minh City to Dong Nai access the path to Nhon Trach Bridge. The remaining branch connects Nhon Trach Bridge and the highway, facilitating circulation between Ho Chi Minh City and Vung Tau, reducing the load for Long Thanh Bridge.

According to the transportation briefing, on April 30, 2025, the items under the XL1 package (Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway range) will be completed, ensuring synchronous connection with the construction package of Nhon Trach Bridge and Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway. When the building is put into operation, the congestion on Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay highway will be improved.

The Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project is 76.34 km long, passing through Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Binh Duong and Long An, with a total investment of more than VND 75,300 billion. The entire route is expected to be completed by June 30, 2026, of which the about 15 km long overpass section through Thu Duc City will be completed by the end of 2025.
