On the afternoon of March 19, Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc visited and inspected the progress of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project (including component project 1A and component project 3).
According to Mr. Tran Van Thi - Director of My Thuan Project Management Board (investor of component project 1A including Nhon Trach bridge and access roads at both ends of the bridge), the total output has reached nearly 90%. Of which, Nhon Trach Bridge across Dong Nai River, connecting Thu Duc City (HCMC) with Nhon Trach District (Dong Nai Province) is the largest bridge in the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project with an output of over 95% and was closed on the night of March 18.
The approach roads at both ends of the bridge are also on good progress, reaching about 76% of the construction volume. The road has many sections paved with asphalt, some sections are under roadbed construction.
"It is expected that from April 26 to April 28, this project will be technically opened to traffic" - Mr. Thi informed.

The representative of the investor of component project 1A also recommended that the People's Committee of Dong Nai province support the source of construction materials.
At the project site, Mr. Vo Tan Duc - Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the efforts of the construction units.

Component project 1A of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 has a total length of 8.22 km, passes through Dong Nai 6.3 km and passes through Ho Chi Minh City 1.92 km.
The project has a total investment of VND6,955 billion, of which Nhon Trach Bridge is 2.6 km long, with a scale of phase 1 including 4 lanes for motor vehicles and 2 lanes for mixed vehicles with a total investment of about VND1,800 billion.
This is a key project, playing a role in connecting the region, shortening travel time from Ho Chi Minh City to Dong Nai and neighboring localities.
When the entire project is put into operation and connected with component project 3 of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 through Dong Nai province, it will lead to Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway, divided into Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway and National Highway 51.
The project will facilitate inter-regional traffic, promoting the socio-economic development of the area.

Similarly, at component project 3 of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3, according to a report from the Dong Nai Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (investor), this section is 11.2 km long, with an output of over 26%.
This section has a starting point at Km0+000 in Vinh Thanh commune, Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province and an end point at Nhon Trach bridge in Long Tan commune, Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province.
The total investment capital is over VND 2,500 billion, expected to be completed in 2025 and completed and put into operation from 2026.
Mr. Vo Tan Duc requested the investor to direct the contractor to speed up the construction of a service road through the 25B intersection to connect with component project 1A in time for technical traffic opening on April 30, 2025.
