On May 15, information from the People's Committee of Kim Tan Ward (Lao Cai City, Lao Cai Province) said that the ward police are coordinating with functional forces to clarify the case of a car driver who caused an accident and left the scene.
Specifically, at around 7:20 p.m. on May 14, a Mazda license plate: 30G-046.79 car driven by a male driver, when moving to the Lao Cai City 6-way intersection (Kim Tan Ward), collided with a Lexus car with license plate 24A that was stopped and parked on the side of the road.
After the collision, the Mazda car driver did not stop but continued driving the car towards Yet Kieu Street, Kim Tan Ward, then crashed into a shed of a house on the roadside.
It is known that the collision did not injure anyone. After the incident, the male Mazda car driver left the scene and had not yet gone to the police station to report.
The police then towed the car to the headquarters for further investigation.
