The project to build a connecting road between Da Bac town and Thanh Son district (Phu Tho) with a total investment of 250 billion VND, of which the central budget supports 200 billion VND, the Hoa Binh provincial budget 50 billion VND, with the People's Committee of Da Bac district as the investor.
The construction contractor is a joint venture of Duc Nhanh Construction Company Limited, Hoang Son Trade Construction Energy Investment Joint Stock Company and Hoa Binh Construction and Consulting Joint Stock Company.
The route has a total length of 8.35 km, of which about 1 km is located in Da Bac town and the rest is in Tu Ly commune, Da Bac district.The project started in October 2022, with an expected construction period of 27 months.
According to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters in mid-March 2025, the road connecting Da Bac town (Hoa Binh) and Thanh Son district (Phu Tho) has basically taken shape.
At the construction site, machinery and equipment are operating with many workers under construction. The road surface and culverts are basically completed, making it convenient for local people to travel.
Mr. Bui Van Tinh (38 years old, residing in Da Bac district) shared that the people are very excited and supportive of the project, hoping that the construction unit will soon complete it, making people's travel more convenient.
"Previously, to go from Da Bac to Thanh Son (Phu Tho), the road was very bad or you had to go around Hoa Binh city. Later, when the new road is completed, travel will be easier, helping to develop the economy and trade of the two localities" - Mr. Tinh said.
Mr. Dinh Quang Hieu - Director of the Management Board of Investment, Construction and Land Fund Development of Da Bac District said that up to now, the volume has been completed at about 70% of the total volume according to the contract.
"Due to many difficulties and problems in site clearance and land and forest use purpose conversion, the project has not yet reached the finish line on schedule. Currently, the unit is completing procedures to change the investment policy and request an extension of the project construction time. We strive to complete it as soon as possible to serve the people and connect trade" - Mr. Hieu informed.
Mr. Luong Van Thi - Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Bac district assessed that the project was invested in construction to improve external traffic connectivity between Da Bac district and Thanh Son district (Phu Tho), connecting Hao Ly Industrial Cluster with Provincial Road 433, improving the efficiency of land use on both sides of the road, serving the development of tourism at Hoa Binh lake. Thereby contributing to the completion of the urban technical infrastructure system of Da Bac town, promoting the socio-economic development of the locality.
