On the morning of April 25, on National Highway 1, the section passing through Ham Thuan Nam commune, Lam Dong province, a traffic accident occurred between a motorbike and a refrigerated truck, causing 2 casualties.
The location of the incident is about 700m from Song Phan toll station.
According to initial information, at about 7 am on the same day, a motorbike with license plate 49B2-187. 10 carrying a couple was traveling in the direction of Ho Chi Minh City to Phan Thiet. When reaching the above area, the motorbike collided with a refrigerated truck with license plate 43H-042. 01 which was turning into a roadside gas station.
The strong collision caused the motorbike to be thrown into the middle of the road. At the scene, the woman died on the spot. The injured man was supported by people to be taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
Upon receiving the news, functional forces quickly arrived to examine the scene and regulate traffic through the area.
The Investigation Police Agency of Lam Dong Provincial Police has coordinated with professional units to conduct an autopsy, collect documents and evidence to clarify the cause of the accident.
