The incident occurred at around 4:00 p.m. on September 14 on National Highway 55 at Km73+700 in front of Cam Binh Market in Phuoc Hoi Ward, Lam Dong Province.
At that time, the truck with license plate 86C-137.25 driven by Mr. D.V.H (born in 1988) carrying 2 women was traveling from Ho Chi Minh City to Lam Dong.

When they reached the above point, they had an accident, overturned and slid long into the roadside. There was a slope and a curve near the incident site.
The truck was carrying many sacks of clams, about 4 tons. After being overturned, the crab bags were thrown out of the truck's trunk.
Ms. L.T.H (born in 1991) sat near the right door of the truck cabin and died in the car. Excavators were dispatched to the scene to lift the cabin and take the victim's body out.

Phuoc Hoi Ward Police arrived to close the scene. The Investigation Police Agency of Lam Dong Province Police and other professional units examined the scene and requested an autopsy to investigate the cause of the incident.
