Recently, many traffic participants on the Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway have reflected on the situation that cars with practice signs circulating with high density have affected other vehicles with the risk of traffic accidents.
PV's records on the morning of April 1st, on both sides of the expressway, many vehicles with driving practice signs appeared, including cars, small trucks and tractor-trailers. At some times, vehicles lined up, even lined up horizontally moving on the expressway.
Most of these vehicles are affixed with badges of Hung Vuong Vocational Training and Driver Training Center, located in Phong Chau ward, Phu Tho province. Each vehicle has a driving instructor accompanying trainees.
Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway is currently a 4-lane restricted expressway with a smaller road surface than fully invested expressways, with a maximum traffic speed of 90km/h. Therefore, the circulation of many driving practice vehicles makes drivers worried about the risk of traffic accidents.
Mr. Le Van Toan (driver on the Ha Giang - Hanoi route) said that every time he encounters driving practice vehicles on the highway, he often has to slow down from afar and pay special attention to observation to avoid possible collision risks.
People who are practicing driving certainly do not have the skills to handle situations, the steering is weak, while on the highway, if vehicles travel at high speed and collision occurs, the consequences are very serious," Mr. Toan worried.

Mr. Tran Duc Anh said: "Many times I ask to overtake, honk the horn for a long time, but the driving practice cars do not yield, I don't understand because I didn't hear or didn't understand the law. Driving practice cars running densely on the highway like this is very dangerous.
Although there are no regulations prohibiting driving practice vehicles from entering highways, the fact that many trainees enter highways at the same time to practice skills poses a risk of traffic accidents.
Through PV's investigation, the Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway has a length of nearly 40km put into operation from December 2024 and has not yet collected tolls. Therefore, this route has become a place for training and helping trainees complete the number of kilometers (running DAT) according to regulations soon.
According to Colonel Pham Quang Huy - Deputy Director of the Traffic Police Department, it is necessary to strictly manage training vehicles entering the expressway. If entering, learners need to ensure sufficient conditions, and learn to what level to enter.
In fact, on the Hanoi - Thai Nguyen expressway (free of charge), there have also been many traffic accidents between training vehicles driven by trainees and other vehicles.
