Lam Dong - Traffic Police have fined a 16-seater car driver on the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao expressway for speeding and not having a driver's license.

On December 30, Highway Traffic Patrol and Control Team No. 6 (Department 6, Traffic Police Department) said that they had discovered and handled a violation case on the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao highway.

At noon on the same day, during the patrol, the Task Force discovered a 16-seater car with license plate 79B-036.xx speeding at km133+770, passing through Vinh Hao commune, Lam Dong province, so they signaled to stop the car for inspection.

At the time of inspection, there were 6 passengers on the car. However, the driver did not have a driver's license as prescribed.

Functional forces have made a record of handling the vehicle driver for two violations: Speeding and not having a driver's license. In which, the act of not having a driver's license has a fine of up to 19 million VND.

In addition, the vehicle owner was fined 58 million VND for handing over the vehicle to a person who did not meet the driving conditions. The violating vehicle was temporarily detained for 7 days to serve the handling work.

Over the past time, Team 6 has strengthened patrols and strictly handled violations on highways to ensure traffic safety, especially at the end of the year when traffic volume increases.

Functional forces advise drivers to comply with regulations on speed, driving conditions and papers when participating in traffic.
