On July 28, the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province said that the ground of the Km144+560 rest stop on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway in Tuy Phong commune has basically met the conditions for construction deployment.
According to the Department of Construction, so far the compensation, support, and resettlement plan has been approved for 17/17 affected cases, with a total area of more than 10.857 hectares and a total budget of more than 6.65 billion VND.
Functional agencies have completed the payment of compensation money to 7 households, and at the same time handed over land for 16/17 cases, equivalent to more than 7.076 hectares, reaching about 83.6% of the total recovered area.
According to the assessment of the Vietnam Road Administration, the handed-over area is basically qualified to deploy the construction of a rest stop. On that basis, the investor is required to urgently receive the site, focus manpower and machinery to immediately deploy priority items to ensure project progress.
For the remaining area, Tuy Phong Commune People's Committee and related units continue to mobilize people to receive compensation money, and at the same time complete dossiers to handle outstanding cases to soon hand over the entire site according to the plan of the Provincial People's Committee.
Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai emphasized that the current site has basically met the conditions for handover to investors to deploy the construction of a rest stop.
Regarding the case of one household that has not yet handed over the land, Mr. Hai requested Tuy Phong Commune People's Committee to soon have a written response in accordance with regulations, and at the same time develop a coercive plan, review all dossiers, compensation decisions and related procedures to ensure legal strictness before organizing implementation.
The Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway through Lam Dong province has two rest stops at Km144+560 (Tuy Phong commune) and Km205+092 (Ham Thuan Bac commune). Currently, the rest stop at Km205 has put many main items into operation and is continuing to be completed.
