On October 25, the Vietnamese Sports Delegation continued to compete in the 2025 Asian Youth Sports Festival in Bahrain and golfers Nguyen Tuan Anh and Doan Uy won 2 silver medals.
Vietnamese sports recorded the first time Vietnamese golfers won medals in this arena.
The competition day on October 25 is the competition day of round 3 for men's individual events. Nguyen Tuan Anh ended the competition with a total score of -11 to win an individual silver medal.
In the final round, round 3, Tuan Anh had a score of -6. However, the Vietnamese golfer missed the opportunity to win the first gold medal due to losing to Chinese opponent Jin Han in the final result.
In the final rankings, Jin Han had a total score of -12, winning the gold medal. In the men's individual record, player Doan Uy has achieved -3 points, so he is ranked 4th.
In the team results, the Vietnam men's golf team has a total score of -14 (achievement of Tuan Anh and Doan Uy) so they are ranked second, receiving the silver medal.
The Chinese golf team reached a total score of -15 to win another gold medal in the men's team event. In the women's singles and women's team events, the Vietnam Golf Team did not have any medals.
Before participating in the 2026 Asian Youth Sports Festival, the Vietnam Golf Team set a goal of achieving the highest achievement. We have 2 silver medals.
This is one of the encouraging results for Vietnamese golfers and the first time the Vietnam Golf Team has won a medal at the Asian Youth Sports Festival.
At the 2025 Asian Youth Sports Festival, golfer Nguyen Anh Minh will not participate. However, Nguyen Tuan Anh showed excellent form to win the individual runner-up prize for men.
