Golf player Nguyen Anh Minh participates in the 2025 World Amateur Team Championship

The Vietnamese golf team has identified 6 players competing in the 2025 World Amateur Team Championships - World Amateur Team Championships 2025.

The coaching staff of the Vietnam Golf Team announced the official list of 6 players participating in the tournament, including Nguyen Anh Minh, Nguyen Duc Son, Ho Anh Huy (men) and Le Chuc An, Anna Le and Arena Tran (women).

Nguyen Anh Minh started studying in the US but still ensured time to participate in this year's tournament.

The organizing committee said that the women's event will take place from October 1 to 4 on the Singapore arena, while the men's event will be held from October 8 to 11. Teams can register up to 3 players.

After each round, the scores of the 2 golfers with the best results will be calculated for the team. The teams will compete in 4 rounds to calculate the total points and determine the final position.

Currently, the golfers in the squad are all in stable form. Le Chuc An is currently ranked 221st in the world. She is the highest-ranked female golfer in Vietnam at the moment. Meanwhile, Nguyen Anh Minh is the highest-ranked male golfer on the amateur rankings: position 40.

The Vietnamese golf team is preparing professionally for the 2025 Asian Youth Sports Festival and the 33rd SEA Games. Therefore, international team tournaments such as in Singapore are a suitable professional training facility for every golfer.
