The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of the city - Organizing Committee of the tournament organized the summary and award ceremony of the "5th Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness and Negative Journalism Award, 2024 - 2025" in Da Nang city.
The 5th " Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness and Negative Journalism Award, 2024 - 2025" in Da Nang City is organized by the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city in coordination with the Internal Affairs Committee of the City Party Committee and relevant agencies starting from November 2024 to early May 2025.
The purpose is to promote propaganda and mobilization of cadres, party members, reporters, association members, union members and people of all walks of life to actively participate in the tournament, contributing to raising awareness and responsibility of agencies and localities, and especially the role of the press in propaganda work on preventing and combating corruption and negative waste in the area.
At the same time, responding to the 5th National Press Award on Anti-Corruption, 2024 - 2025 jointly organized by the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Vietnam Journalists Association and Vietnam Television.
After more than 7 months of launching, the Organizing Committee of the Award has compiled 46 entries from 20 units, in 3 types of press: Print Newspaper, Electronic Newspaper and Television Newspaper (22- artifact print, electronic 11 works and television 13 works).
At the summary and award ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 collective prize to Da Nang Radio and Television Newspaper and 12 individual prizes, including 1 Special Prize; 2 A prizes, 3 B prizes, 2 C prizes, 4 Encouragement prizes.
