On June 4, while performing a task at the examination area, the security forces of Da Nang Hospital discovered a blue nylon bag containing more than 20 million VND in cash, without identification documents.
Immediately afterwards, Mr. Le Van Cuong - the head of the security team quickly reported the incident, coordinated with relevant departments and verified the person who dropped it - Ms. Vo Thi T, residing in Thang Binh district, Quang Nam province, was taking her husband to the hospital for examination and treatment.
Empowered, Ms. T shared: This amount of money is all my family has spent on treating my husband. When I knew I was gone, I could only cry. Thanks to the dedicated security guards, I have received all of them. My family is extremely grateful".
Immediately afterwards, Da Nang Hospital also commended the sense of responsibility and good deeds of the men in the security force. Awarded a certificate of merit to Mr. Le Van Cuong - the leader of the security team for finding and returning 20 million VND to the patient's family who unfortunately dropped it.
The hospital also recommends that people should keep their assets safe when coming to the hospital for examination and treatment: limit carrying a lot of cash or valuable assets; keep your belongings carefully, do not leave any waste in your shirt bag, pants bag, shift band...; always keep an eye on your assets when moving; immediately report to medical staff/guards when detecting a loss of property.
