On December 30, La Lay Commune Police (Quang Tri province) said that they had just coordinated with the Party Committee, Commune People's Committee, Fatherland Front and local organizations to organize a meaningful charity program in the border area.
With the joint efforts of collectives, individuals and philanthropists, the program awarded 1,200 gifts to people and students in particularly difficult circumstances in La Lay commune. The gifts were prepared thoughtfully and promptly, contributing to bringing a warm and meaningful spring in the border area.
The charity activity received the companionship of commune leaders, grassroots security and order forces, kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools in the area. In addition, there was support from the 0-dong Cano Team of Quang Tri province, the Green Nurturing Charity Club (Hanoi), Tam An Club (Ho Chi Minh City) and many philanthropists inside and outside the province.
Close coordination between the police force, local authorities and charitable organizations has created positive spillover effects, showing a sense of responsibility and sharing with the community, especially during Tet and Spring.
Not only carrying the meaning of material support, the gifts are also a source of spiritual encouragement for students in border areas to continue to strive to study and rise up in life. For local people, this is a practical and timely concern, helping people have more faith and motivation to overcome difficulties.
Representatives of La Lay Commune Police said that the program is a highly humane activity, contributing to strengthening the close relationship between the police force and the people, thereby joining hands to maintain security and order, and build a peaceful and stable border area.
