130 booths of cooperatives and businesses from 30 provinces and cities participate in the Trade Promotion Fair for Northern Regional Cooperatives in 2026, taking place at Thong Nhat Park (Hanoi).
On the evening of August 18, at Thong Nhat Park, the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance in coordination with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and related units organized the opening ceremony of the Trade Promotion Fair for Northern Regional Cooperatives in 2026.
The event is part of the National Trade Promotion Program 2026, aimed at supporting cooperatives to promote products, connect partners, expand markets and improve competitiveness.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Cao Xuan Thu Van - Chairwoman of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance said that the collective economy and cooperatives are an important economic component, contributing to socio-economic development and improving people's lives.

According to Ms. Cao Xuan Thu Van, the fair is not only a place to display and introduce products but also creates opportunities for cooperatives to connect with businesses, distributors and consumers. This is also an opportunity to introduce typical products of localities, contributing to improving the value of agricultural products and products of the collective economic sector.
This year's fair has 130 booths of 30 Provincial and City Cooperative Alliances, including 115 booths of cooperatives and 15 booths of businesses.
The products introduced are diverse, including fresh agricultural products, processed foods, medicinal herbs, handicrafts and OCOP products. Many products with regional characteristics are invested by cooperatives to improve quality and build brands.
Notably, within the framework of the fair, cooperatives have the opportunity to directly connect with distribution and retail systems such as Aeon, GO!, WinMart, Lotte, Saigon Co. op... Thereby, opening up more opportunities to bring products into modern distribution systems and reach consumers.
From August 18-23, the Organizing Committee will implement trade promotion seminars, value chain connections; support digital transformation in production and business; consulting, connecting credit and capital sources for cooperatives.
The fair is also an activity in response to the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", creating conditions for people in the Capital and tourists to visit and shop for products produced by domestic cooperatives and businesses.
The fair is open from 8am to 9pm daily at Thong Nhat Park, Hai Ba Trung ward, Hanoi City.
