According to the load chart dated May 26, 2026 at the National Power System and Electricity Market Operation Company (NSMO), electricity demand nationwide has increased quite rapidly again from early morning, in which the North continues to be the largest electricity consuming area in the system.
Chart analysis shows that by 10:00 AM on May 26, the total system load reached about 52,014 MW. This shows that the demand for electricity for domestic, production and commercial use increased sharply when entering daytime working hours. In addition, hot weather may cause air conditioning demand to increase earlier than usual.
At 10:00 AM, the 3-region load is as follows: Northern region: 26,371 MW; Southern region: 20,730 MW; Central region: 4,912 MW. Thus, according to these data, the Northern region accounts for the highest in the total system load.

Previously, the operating parameters on May 25, 2026 were as follows:
Calculated with rooftop solar power data (commercial estimates):
- Maximum capacity of the day: 56,268.6 MW (At 2:20 PM);
- Electricity production and import output: 1,1163.6 million kWh.
Calculated with rooftop solar power data (pole estimate):
- Maximum capacity of the day: 57,092.2 MW (At 1:40 PM);
- Electricity production and import output: 1,171.1 million kWh.
