Informing reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Tran Hai Ha - Acting Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VHTTDL) of Dien Bien province - said that the unit has just issued an official dispatch to strengthen concern for caring for life and implementing welfare for civil servants, public employees and employees under the Department.
According to Mr. Ha, caring for and taking care of life, encouraging civil servants, public employees and workers will create an atmosphere of excitement, trust, and peace of mind in work; have time to regenerate labor and promote the spirit of creativity.
Departments are required to proactively arrange time, choose locations and allocate resources to organize sightseeing, tourism, and vacation trips for officials and employees.
Trips last from 3 to 5 days, combined with weekend holidays. The implementation period must be from June 1 to the end of September 30, 2026.
The Department also encourages units to actively link and coordinate with each other in the process of organization and implementation.
The document also clearly states that heads of departments must determine that organizing vacations is a task and mandatory responsibility of leaders for taking care of the welfare of employees.
This activity is identified as annual, as an additional criterion for the Department's Board of Directors to consider and evaluate the results of annual task implementation.
In addition to tourism activities, leaders of departments and units are also required to regularly grasp the thoughts, aspirations and working conditions of personnel to have forms of timely encouragement and sharing.
Cases with difficult circumstances, illnesses or belonging to policy families need to be given special attention, visits and support.
