Tay Ninh voters proposed that the Prime Minister and central ministries and sectors pay attention to considering and supporting the province with the amount of 1,620 billion VND from increased revenue and savings in the central budget in 2025 to implement the Tan An - Binh Hiep road project in 2026.
The goal of this proposal is to contribute to completing the inter-regional transport infrastructure system connecting the Mekong Delta region with Ho Chi Minh City and the Southeast region, creating motivation to promote socio-economic development of the province in the coming time.
Answering the above proposal, the Ministry of Finance said that the Prime Minister has issued Decision No. 1174/QD-TTg dated June 30, 2026 on assigning additional expenditure estimates for central budget capital development investment in 2026 to ministries and localities from the source of increased central budget revenue in 2025.
In the above decision, in Tay Ninh province, the Prime Minister assigned the Go Dau - Xa Mat project 2,500 billion VND. Therefore, there is no longer a source of allocation for the Tan An - Binh Hiep road project as proposed by the province.
The Ministry of Finance has also submitted Official Dispatches No. 723/TTr-BTC dated June 4, 2026 and No. 839/TTr-BTC dated June 24, 2026 to the Government on notifying the estimated capital of the Medium-term Public Investment Plan for the period 2026 - 2030 to ministries, central agencies and localities.
Therefore, the Ministry of Finance requests the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee to fully assess the investment efficiency in accordance with Conclusion No. 18-KL/TW dated April 2, 2026 at the second Conference of the 14th Party Central Committee, Directive No. 16/CT-TTg dated April 23, 2026 of the Prime Minister and in accordance with the provisions of law on public investment; and at the same time arrange priorities, allocate capital and summarize the above projects in the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2026 - 2030 within the scope of total capital announced by the Prime Minister.
