On February 23, the Standing Committee of Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee held a meeting to listen to a report on the situation of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, and at the same time discussed and identified key tasks that need to be focused on in the coming time, especially in the first quarter of 2026.
According to assessments, Party committees and authorities in the province have proactively and synchronously implemented socio-economic development tasks during Tet, ensuring conditions for people to enjoy Spring and welcome Tet safely. Activities to care for policy families, people with meritorious services, workers, and people in border areas are effectively implemented, contributing to ensuring social security, leaving no one behind.
Immediately after the Tet holiday, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee requested all levels and sectors to immediately get to work, avoiding prolonging the holiday period, affecting the overall progress. The focus in the coming time is to concretize the targets and tasks of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress and the development plan for 2026, focusing on key projects and breakthrough programs.
Along with that, Tay Ninh province will continue to review and arrange the organizational structure, team of cadres, civil servants, and public employees to meet practical requirements; and at the same time strengthen coordination to remove difficulties and obstacles for people and businesses, striving to achieve double-digit economic growth targets this year.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee also requested the urgent implementation of contents related to connecting transport infrastructure, especially driving routes such as Tan An - Binh Hiep, Long An - Tan Ninh, connecting routes to Tan Nam international border gate and expanding the bridge connecting the Tan Nam - Meun Chey international border gate pair to promote trade in the border area.
In addition, units are assigned the task of reviewing and proposing plans to upgrade and build new public housing; handling headquarters and land and houses after arranging administrative units; accelerating the progress of adjusting provincial planning to create a basis for attracting investment. The province also focuses on definitively handling backlog projects, creating a clean land fund to serve socio-economic development.
In addition, the implementation of Resolution No. 254/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly on removing difficulties in organizing the implementation of the Land Law will be studied and implemented promptly to support people and businesses.
In the first quarter of 2026, the province will continue to pay attention to implementing social security programs such as eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses; reviewing clean water supply planning; organizing Tet tree planting associated with disaster prevention and control and climate change response. At the same time, focus on preparing well for the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term in accordance with regulations.
