Putting agricultural products online, easy access to the market
The application of digital technology not only helps expand the market but also enhances the value of local typical products.
In recent years, livestreaming sales, advertising on Facebook, TikTok or bringing products to e-commerce platforms has become a familiar activity for many production units.
This is considered an effective solution to overcome the barrier of geographical distance. Thuan Tai Pharmaceutical Cooperative (Dak Pek commune) is one of the units that early approached this trend. With 64 members, the cooperative has developed more than 1,000ha of raw material areas including Ngoc Linh ginseng, dây ginseng, Arabica coffee and lim xanh mushrooms.
Cooperative Director Nguyen Viet Tai said that although Ngoc Linh ginseng has high value and the number of online transactions is not large, digital platforms are still effective in brand promotion, product introduction and connecting with potential customers.

Along with Thuan Tai Cooperative, Tay Nguyen Herbal Medicine Co., Ltd. (Dak To commune) is also promoting digital transformation in business operations. The enterprise is currently linking more than 200ha of ginger, turmeric, bitter melon, ginseng and many other medicinal herbs, consuming products for over 500 households.
Government accompanies people
According to Director Luong Thi My Hue, in addition to investing in processing technology, businesses regularly organize livestream sessions on TikTok and Facebook to introduce products.
Thanks to that, the consumption output of OCOP products increased by 15-20% compared to before, and the enterprise's brand is also known by more consumers.
Not only businesses, many individuals also contribute to bringing agricultural products from mountainous areas to reach further thanks to their influence on social networks.
Videos made by people not only introduce beautiful scenery, culture, cuisine and life of highland people but also promote many specialties such as coffee flower honey, coffee, custard apple tea, beesweed powder, ginseng and ginseng processed products, smoked pork...
The natural integration between cultural stories and product introduction helps local specialties reach a large number of customers inside and outside the province.
Along with the efforts of businesses and people, local authorities are also actively supporting digital transformation in the agricultural sector. Tu Mo Rong commune is one of the localities that has implemented many activities to guide people to apply technology to consume agricultural products.
According to Chairman of the Commune People's Committee Tran Quoc Huy, so far the locality has organized 9 fairs combining direct and online forms. Through this, people have gradually changed their production thinking, boldly applying digital technology to promote products, contributing to improving the value of agricultural products.
