The deployment of the Origin Tracing System at www.verigoods.vn aims to implement one of the 6 pioneers assigned by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to the Ministry of Industry and Trade at the Conference summarizing the work of the Industry and Trade sector in 2025, period 2021 - 2025 and deploying key tasks in 2026 held on December 19 at the Ministry headquarters.
The system is built with the orientation of taking people and businesses as the center, acting as a bridge between businesses and consumers, contributing to strengthening market confidence. Through transparency of product information through authentication methods such as QR codes, consumers can easily identify genuine products, while businesses have more tools to affirm brand reputation, prevent and limit counterfeiting.
The system will be officially operated from December 23, 2025 and will be mandatory for some groups of goods from January 1, 2026.

According to regulations, traceability is mandatory for products and goods determined by ministries and ministerial-level agencies based on the assessment of risks, impacts on human health, the environment and social order and safety; the application is implemented according to a suitable roadmap, ensuring feasibility and minimizing costs arising for businesses.
We encourage businesses to proactively register product declaration and issue authentication codes right from the time the System is officially operational. When the Circular of the Ministry of Industry and Trade regulates the traceability of goods effective from January 1, 2026, the application will become a mandatory requirement for businesses trading in high-risk goods such as chemicals and products containing chemicals, industrial precursors, explosives, industrial explosives, raw materials and tobacco products, and at the same time encourage the application of other groups of goods - Director of the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development Tran Huu Linh said.
