On September 20, Mr. Pham Duc An - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City inspected a number of projects in the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone, visited and worked with Truong Hai Group Joint Stock Company (THACO).
At wharf No. 2 Chu Lai port (Nui Thanh commune), Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City Pham Duc An and the working group inspected the situation, listened to the leaders of THACO and the Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks of Quang Nam province report on the progress of the Cua Lo canal project; the bridge connecting Tam Hiep - Tam Hoa wharf area and the road connecting Viet Han Industrial Park with Vo Chi Cong street.
This is a project implemented in the form of a construction - transfer contract (BT contract) with a total investment of more than VND 8,500 billion.
In addition, THACO leaders reported on the THACO Chu Lai Agricultural and Forestry Industrial Park project (451 hectares), the expanded Automobile Mechanical Industrial Park project (115 hectares), the Chu Lai Urban Area project and the social housing project in Tam Anh commune.
The problems and proposals were proposed by the representative of this enterprise to the leaders of the People's Committee of Da Nang City at the meeting.
At the on-site inspection, Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Pham Duc An highly appreciated the outstanding results of THACO in recent times, especially in the context of many difficulties due to the general situation.
Emphasizing the opportunities and challenges in the coming time, with the expectation that THACO will develop remarkably and make greater contributions to the city in particular and the country's economy in general, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City Pham Duc An hopes that THACO will organize and implement business activities effectively, continuing to be a driving force of the city.
Da Nang City is committed to implementing policies in accordance with regulations, creating conditions to remove difficulties and obstacles for THACO and businesses with the capacity to want to invest, produce and do business in the area.
In the coming time, the leaders of Da Nang City will continue to work and accompany THACO to develop agriculture, forestry, and medicinal herbs, contributing to improving the lives of people in mountainous areas, especially ethnic minorities.
