As Lao Dong Newspaper has reported, Nam Pleiku Industrial Park (VRG Gia Lai Industrial Park Branch) is invested by Chu Se Rubber One Member Co., Ltd.
The project has a total area of over 191 hectares, with an investment capital of VND 476.6 billion, and has been approved by the Prime Minister since September 3, 2019.
However, since then, the project has not yet been put into operation, although this industrial park has a favorable location, near National Highway 14, National Highway 19 and is located on a large area of agricultural materials such as rubber, banana, pepper, coffee, etc.
The reason for the delay comes from legal procedures such as: licensing, land planning, traffic connection, file appraisal, etc.

In July 2025, Gia Lai Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung inspected, worked with the investor and requested the relevant departments, branches and the Provincial People's Committee to promptly resolve the problem, and submit to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for consideration to put Nam Pleiku Industrial Park into operation as soon as possible.
On August 22, Mr. Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang - Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee - assigned the Economic Zone Management Board to proactively guide and urge Chu Se Rubber One Member Co., Ltd. to carry out related work to speed up the project implementation progress.
The People's Committees of Bo Ngoong and Ia tar communes are assigned to preside over and coordinate with Chu Se Rubber One Member Co., Ltd. to urgently carry out compensation and site clearance for the infrastructure of Nam Pleiku Industrial Park, to be completed in August 2025.
The Provincial People's Committee requires all infrastructure of Nam Pleiku Industrial Park to be completed before October 2026.
Gia Lai currently has many large-scale industrial parks, attracting domestic and international investors such as: Tra Da Industrial Park, Nhon Hoi, Nhon Hoa, Dien Phu.
