On July 1, Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee organized a reception and working session with a working delegation of the Arab Business Council and MHGroup Joint Stock Company to learn about the investment environment and cooperation opportunities in Hung Yen province.
Speaking at the reception, Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen - Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee - affirmed that the friendly and cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Arab countries has developed positively in many fields in recent times, especially trade, investment, finance, energy and business connection.
In the context of deep international economic integration, Hung Yen wishes to become an attractive destination for Arab investors, and also a bridge between the Arab business community and the Vietnamese and regional markets.

Introducing the potential and advantages of the province after arranging provincial-level administrative units, Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen said that Hung Yen is located in the growth triangle of Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh, with a synchronous road and waterway transport system, along with 54 km of coastline, creating great room for industrial, logistics, service and urban development.
He said that there is currently a project of investors from Arab countries operating effectively in Pho Noi Textile and Garment Industrial Park, which is an important foundation for expanding cooperation in the coming time.
Along with that, the province has adjusted the 2021 - 2030 Plan, vision to 2050 in the direction of forming three strategic economic zones, expanding development space.

Emphasizing the goal of double-digit economic growth, Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen said that Hung Yen is focusing on transforming the growth model, developing industry, services, logistics and marine economy; and at the same time wishing the Arab Business Council to act as a bridge to promote businesses to learn and invest in the locality.
At the working session, representatives of the Arab Business Council and MHGroup said that the global Halal market with more than 2 billion consumers is opening up many opportunities for cooperation in agriculture, processing industry, food and logistics.
The delegation proposed to study the construction of a Halal Industrial Park in Hung Yen, forming a closed Halal ecosystem from production, processing, logistics to human resource training, consulting and certification.

According to the assessment of the working delegation, Hung Yen has great potential to become a Halal industrial center in the Northern region and hopes that the province will create conditions to soon implement specific cooperation contents.
Concluding the working session, Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen affirmed that Hung Yen always welcomes and creates favorable conditions for foreign investors, including Arab businesses.
He assigned the Department of Finance to be the focal point for coordinating the provision of planning information, land funds, list of projects calling for investment and policies of the province.
