On February 22, according to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City, the total number of tourists visiting during Tet is estimated at about 1.1 million, an increase of 27% compared to the same period in 2025. Of which, international visitors reached more than 510,000 and domestic visitors reached 560,000. Total revenue from tourism activities is estimated at more than 3,960 billion VND. The average room occupancy rate in the whole city reached about 65-70%, and the 4-5 star hotel block alone reached about 85%.
During this occasion, the city organized many cultural and flower decoration activities on main roads such as Bach Dang, Nguyen Van Linh and Vo Van Kiet. Dragon Bridge performed fire and water spraying continuously from December 26th to the 6th day of Tet to serve people. Major tourist areas such as Ba Na Hills, Than Tai Mountain and Mikazuki organized many flower festivals, folk games and art performances throughout the holiday.
Regarding air transport, the city welcomed an international flight from Bangkok (Thailand) on the morning of the 1st day of Tet. Sea ferries welcomed 4 ships docking at Tien Sa port carrying 4,200 international tourists to visit scenic spots in Da Nang and neighboring localities. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has coordinated with units to organize gift giving and lion dance performances to welcome these first-year groups of visitors.
Security and order assurance and environmental sanitation are deployed synchronously at beaches and tourist attractions. Coastal rescue forces maintain 24/24 hour duty in safe swimming areas. The Tourist Support Center is on duty at the hotline to answer information and support tourists promptly. To date, functional agencies have not received any feedback on the situation of soliciting customers or increasing service prices during Tet.
