World oil prices
Speaking to the IMF representative, the Egyptian government said that from June 15, Egypt will stop subsidies for most energy products. The IMF has previously released an assessment of Egypt's policy of providing up to $12 billion in support over the past three years to companies that need capital to produce energy.
This will mean an increase in gasoline, diesel, kerosene and fuel oil prices.
In addition, the Saudi Arabian Energy Minister Khalid Al-Falih met with the President of Nigeria and discussed cooperation between the two OPEC member countries in the energy sector and the importance of cooperation to stabilize the global oil market.
At the end of last weekend's trading session, world oil prices today increased by 1.5% right after the US employment data appeared to increase. This has led analysts to worry that global crude oil demand will plummet.
Brent oil price for futures was stable at 70.34 USD/barrel, up 94 cents (equivalent to 1.35% compared to the previous trading session). Brent oil prices have reached a peak of 70.46 USD at one point. This is the highest level since November 12, 2018.
WTI oil prices are stable at 63.08 USD/barrel, up 98 cents (equivalent to 1.58%). This is the highest level since November 6 last year.

Gold prices today fell to a 4-month low due to the USD's increase. The main reason is that investors are full of hope that the US and China can reach a trade deal in the next few days. In addition, the US dollar appreciated thanks to information from political instability in Europe surrounding the Trump story that caused the Euro and the British pound to fall.
Spot gold prices fell 0.1% to $1,290.75 an ounce, after falling to $1,280.59/ounce, their lowest level since January 25. Meanwhile, gold futures are trading at $1,295.6 an ounce.
Last week, world gold prices fluctuated around the threshold: 1,280 - 1,297 USD/ounce.
The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) announced the central exchange rate of VND/USD at VND22,978 VND, down VND5 compared to the previous trading session.
The USD/VND exchange rate at some commercial banks remained unchanged compared to the previous session, the common foreign exchange rate was at 23,150 - 23,250 VND/USD (buy - sell).
