According to the Department of Planning and Investment of Gia Lai province, in 2025, the province will focus resources and prioritize attracting investment in areas with room for development.
Regarding agriculture and forestry, Gia Lai will focus on attracting high-tech, organic agricultural projects, afforestation, medicinal herbs and seed centers.
Regarding industry, the province calls for investment in infrastructure projects of industrial parks/clusters, logistics centers, dry ports, agricultural, forestry and animal feed processing factories.
Regarding trade, services and tourism, Gia Lai will attract investment in commercial centers, smart urban areas, sports areas (golf courses), entertainment areas, eco-tourism, spiritual and resort areas.
These are great opportunities to attract investment, create breakthroughs in rapid and sustainable economic development. Logistics services will be a lever for trade, services and exports, enhancing the competitiveness of the province's products and goods.

Gia Lai owns a large raw material area with more than 98,700 hectares of coffee, with an output of about 267,450 tons/year; 10,040 hectares of pepper, with an output of nearly 35,700 tons/year; nearly 30,000 hectares of fruit trees (planned over 100,000 hectares); nearly 2,300 hectares of medicinal herbs (planned 20,000 hectares).
These advantages have helped Gia Lai attract nearly 300 investment projects in agriculture and forestry with a total investment capital of about 10,402 billion VND; and 209 livestock projects with a total investment capital of about 35,000 billion VND.
The export value of agricultural products accounts for about 70-80% of the province's total export turnover.
