On July 11, Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the Vietnam Tourism Association to hold a press conference to inform about the 2nd Vietnam Travel Day in 2026.
This is one of the key activities in response to the National Tourism Year - Gia Lai 2026, and also a tourism promotion forum, connecting domestic and international businesses to promote growth, improve competitiveness and expand the Vietnamese tourism market.

With the message "Great forest touches blue sea", the event aims to connect the unique values of Quy Nhon - Central Highlands - South Central Coast tourism, creating motivation for Gia Lai to promote its potential, attract more tourists, and contribute to local socio-economic growth.
The festival gathered more than 550 delegates and tourism businesses from home and abroad. Among them are 150 international travel businesses from key markets such as Korea, Japan, China, India, Russia and the CIS bloc, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines; and 200 domestic travel businesses.
FLC Quy Nhon Beach & Golf Resort was chosen as the venue for activities including the opening ceremony, B2B trade connection program and Gala Dinner.

At the press conference, Ms. Cao Thi Ngoc Lan - Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Tourism Association - said that the event aims to promote the image, potential, tourism strengths, investment environment and unique products of Gia Lai to domestic and international markets.
According to Ms. Lan, Vietnam Travel Day will be a bridge to promote trade, promote and develop new tourism products and aim to sign cooperation agreements between Gia Lai travel businesses, localities and international partners, thereby strongly attracting international tourists to Vietnam.
The opening ceremony is expected to take place on August 15. One of the highlights of the program is the survey of typical tourist areas and destinations along with cultural, ecological, community, resort and experience tourism products of Gia Lai. Through this, domestic and foreign travel businesses will build tours, connect and expand the customer market.
Mr. Ricky Ho - General Manager of FLC Quy Nhon - assessed that the event is an opportunity for FLC and FLC Hotels & Resorts to continue to accompany Vietnam's tourism industry in connecting, promoting destinations and developing sustainable tourism.
To develop sustainable tourism, businesses cannot go alone but need to accompany local authorities and partners to create attraction for the destination. An attractive destination is not created by a hotel but by an entire ecosystem of experiences," said Mr. Ricky Ho.
According to a representative of FLC Group, after 10 years of development (2016-2026), FLC Quy Nhon Beach & Golf Resort has contributed to changing the face of local tourism, making Quy Nhon a prominent destination for resorts, golf and MICE tourism.
Currently, competition is no longer between hotels but between destinations. Therefore, FLC chooses to accompany instead of competition. When businesses, localities and travel agencies share the same goal, not only will the number of visitors increase, but the image of Vietnam's destinations will also be enhanced.
