    Opening this morning's trading session (8.23), DOJI Group listed the price of SJC gold at 36.29 - 36.37 million VND/tael (buy - sell), down 50,000 VND in both directions compared to the same time in the previous trading session.

    SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau is listed at 36.28 - 36.36 million VND/tael, down 80 thousand VND for buying and down 70 thousand VND for selling compared to yesterday. Price of plain round gold rings Dragon Thang Long gold is trading at: 35.01- 35.46 million VND/tael (buy - sell), down 100,000 VND in both directions compared to the previous trading session.

    At Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ), the price of SJC gold bars was listed at 36.24 - 36.42 million VND/tael (buy - sell), down 80,000 VND/tael in both directions compared to the same time yesterday.

    World gold price is currently listed at 1283 - 1284 USD/ounce

    9999 gold price for December delivery decreased by 5.10 USD/ounce to 1291.60 USD/ounce.

    The world stock market is gradually warming up, the US stock index increased sharply in the late afternoon trading session. The increase in the world stock market is negative information for gold.

    The increase in the USD index is the second reason for the decline in gold prices. In the short term, the USD is showing an upward trend in August.

    The highlight this week is the annual meeting between central banks of many countries held in Jackson Hole, Wyoming (USA) from Friday to Saturday. Senior leaders attending the meeting included Federal Reserve Chairman quan quan Yellen and European Central Bank President Mario Draghi.
